First Night in Valron's Pledge

Recently, Kelven’s Escort Team entered Valron’s Pledge with the intention of finding shelter for the night of the full moon, while following the tracks of Ludevic. As it turns out, things became a little awkward that night. They encountered an inquisitor of bahamut in the process of escorting a very dangerous prisoner. Quinn was revealed to be a werewolf. The black-cloaked, ghostly form spooked the party again. Wards against the werewolves started failing around the city, falling from their hooks. Some mysterious figures were wandering around picking up bodies. Effectively, everything went wrong.

In the aftermath, Briarthorn tried to lay claim as mayor. Kava Firesign abandoned her charge of Katherine. Kel’ven said they would have to stay in town until a census was performed and the dead were properly disposed of.

He can cook, but it'll probably be garlicky

In the Murkdive bunk-house, Quinn and Gordon are both startled awake by an unperceived threat. The rest of the group is roused, including newcomer Ash Temple, and a brief investigation of the room reveals mysterious tracks in the dust; mysterious because they originate and return through a closed window, locked from the inside and properly warded against spirits.
Reawakening later, the party notices a wanted poster for Ludevic, a stitcher suspected to be operating in the area. Determining him to be the most likely culprit for the caravan attack, and finding the bounty to be acceptable, the party head out to Carbine Manor to apprehend him.
Arriving at the mostly sunken structure surrounded by overturned gravestones, the party is first confronted by a pack of necrotized wolves on the grounds, and then within by a nest of immense spiders.
After taking a six-hour dinner break in the attic, the party descend further. They soon find themselves arriving in what used to be the main entry hall of Carbine Manor, still attended by now zombified servants. Having defeated these undead, the party are then plunged through the rotting floor and into a pit of corpses. There they are addressed by Ludevic via a speaking tube, but choose to keep their presence undisclosed. Meanwhile, something is stirring under their feet…

SESSION 1
Toads. It had to be toads.

In a mostly empty caravan wagon out of Innsmouth and on it’s way to Valron’s Pledge ride Ilikan Iron-Wolf, Quinn, Briarthorn Bloodthistle, Gordon Seatooth, and Kel’ven Greensleeves. After three days’ peaceful travel a suspicious avalanche wipes out the entire caravan, leaving only the above and a few other able-bodied survivors. After they fend off a pack of ravenous wolves, Captain Arthur sends the party to Murkdive Outpost to get help, whilst he and the surviving guardsmen protect the wounded and the caravan’s payload of silver.
The party, with Kel’ven in tow, plunge into the swamp where they run into a band of bullywugs. Arriving at the outpost, the party alerts the guards therein and are given horses to return to the crash site with haste. Skirting the swamp, the party is waylaid by the same group of bullywugs, now risen as zombies and accompanied by immense toads, who proceed to ravage Iron-Wolf and Gordon in particular.
Returning finally to the caravan, the party finds Arthur and his men killed and reanimated, and all of the bodies removed from the area, with werewolf tracks the only clue as to what happened. The Murkdive guard arrive not long after to retrieve the silver, and the party are offered cots back at the outpost which they accept.
